UGC NET Exam 2021: Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ has announced the UGC-NET 2021 exam dates today through his Twitter handle on 2 February. UGC-NET Examination for Junior Research Fellowship to be conducted by National Testing Agency {NTA} and Eligibility Test for Assistant Professor 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 14 & 17 May 2021 Will be held in different cities of the country. Also, the online application process for UGC NET December 2020 (May 2021 cycle) will also be started from today, February 2, 2021. Notifications for this have been issued.

According to the notification, the UGC-NET exam for Junior Research Fellowship to be held from 2 to 7 May, 10 to 12 May, 14 May and 17 May 2021 and the eligibility test for Assistant Professor will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will be held from 9 am to 12 pm and the second shift will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm. The UGC-NET 2021 exam will be a computer-based examination.

According to the notification, the online application process for UGC NET December 2020 (May 2021 cycle) will start today, February 2, 2021. Eligible and interested candidates can apply by going to UTA’s UGC NET Examination Portal, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The process of applying online will run till 2 March 2021.

Unreserved candidates applying for UGC NET December 2020 (May 2021) will have to pay Rs 1000 as application fee. At the same time, for EWS and OBC candidates of General category, the application fee has been fixed at Rs 500. While, SC, ST and Transgender category candidates will have to pay only Rs 250 as the application fee.
