Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has also been closed till May 15 due to increasing cases of corona infection. This decision was taken in a meeting held under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Professor Rakesh Bhatnagar.

University Officer 15 Will work from home by May
An official statement said that the university officials will work from their homes till May 15 and they will be called to the office only in the required position. However, medical facilities and essential services will continue during this period.
The statement also said that there would be no permission for unnecessary movement in the university campus and the night curfew / lockdown imposed by the district administration would be applicable inside the university campus.

Teachers and staff have been asked to conduct a COVID test.
The university has asked teachers and other employees to get COVID-19 test done if symptoms of infection are seen. If the test comes positive then isolate yourself.

Offline Teaching was closed in April
Banaras Hindu University (BHU), in an effort to stop the spread of COVID-19 in April, had also stopped offline teaching inside the university campus and banned the movement of people. The university asked students living in hostels to go to their original places and give online, open-book exams to “protect their homes”.

The University Grant Commission (UGC) has asked universities not to conduct offline examinations in May and after assessing the local conditions, decide to conduct the examination online. In its letter to all universities and colleges, the commission stressed that the health and safety of all is of paramount importance due to the increasing cases of corona infection.

UGC gave these instructions for conducting online examinations

Along with this, the UGC has also directed that, “For conducting online examinations, the HEI can take appropriate decisions after assessing the local conditions, and ensure that they are able to take care of the central / state government, education Kovid protocol and security measures issued by the Ministry or UGC should be followed. ”

The Ministry of Education had also directed not to conduct the offline examination in May.

Earlier, the Ministry of Education had directed all centrally funded institutes (IITs, NITs, IIITs, Central Universities, etc.) not to conduct offline exams in May. The Ministry had said that in the first week of June, 2021, the decision of the examinations will be reviewed again.

Significantly, the education ministry’s instructions regarding the exam were only for the Central Funded Institution. At the same time, the UGC Advisory is for all those universities which come under them, including state-run and private universities.

NTA AIAPGET 2021: All India Ayush PG Entrance Exam adjourned for minimum three months


After the postponement of JEE Main and many other entrance examinations, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the All India AYUSH Postgraduate Entrance Examination (AIAPGET) 2021 in view of the huge increase in Kovid-19 cases in the country. NTA issued notice regarding the postponement of Ayush PG Entrance Examination on Wednesday 5 May.

The NTA has announced that, “In view of the huge increase in cases of corona infection in the country, it has been decided to postpone AIAPGET-2021 for a minimum period of three months. The revised exam date will be announced later. “

IIM Indore Admission 2021: Deadline for registration for Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) 2021 extended till 31 May


Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM) has extended the last date for registration for the Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test IPMAT 2021.
